ABOUT WHITE ISLAND
On White island, you will find the ruins of an ancient church built on the site of an earlier monastic settlement with an intact arched Romanesque doorway. The island is world-famous for its eight carved figures that sit in a line along the interior north wall of the church. Most were carved between 800 and 1000 A.D. and are wearing the long tunics of churchmen.
It is believed that Vikings attacked and destroyed the monasteries during the 9th Century with many of the inhabitants meeting a gruesome end. The island is also thought to be located at a meeting of Ley Lines, with many visitors from around the world use different techniques and divine intervention to find the same crossing point.

LEVEL OF FITNESS Hydrobikes provide a gently, low impact aerobic workout, you can take the tour at your own pace and it can take around 30-45minutes each way.
WHAT WE PROVIDE. The worlds first and most durable Hydrobike, manufactured in the USA. Carry compartments and drink holders.
HEIGHT & AGE REQUIREMENTS: Hydrobikes are single-seated, one person per bike. Min Age 8. All riders should have a leg inseam of 24 inches to reach the pedals. Max Weight 125kg on a single Hydrobike.
UNSAFE WEATHER CONDITIONS: Tours are subject to weather conditions in the event the tour is cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions a refund will be provided.
