Castle Archdale Boat Hire and Watersports is proud to be bringing you the first hydrobikes in Ireland. You will be taking cycling off the road and onto the relative safety of the water.
Hydrobikes provide a gentle, low-impact aerobic total body workout; but it all depends on how fast you pedal. Take a hydrobike out for a leisurely ride, a fast cardio workout, photography session, or fishing.
FUN, SAFE, AND UNSINKABLE – Our hydrobikes are a perfect way to experience water sports. Hydrobikes are super dog friendly, and your furry friend will love the ride as much as you will.
WATER FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY – Hydrobikes are easier to ride and suitable for adventurers aged 8 to 80. Our water bikes are a great way to have fun on Lough Erne.
WHAT WE PROVIDE – The world’s first and most durable hydrobike, manufactured in the USA. Carry compartments and drink holders.
HEIGHT & AGE REQUIREMENTS – Hydrobikes are single-seated, one person per bike. Min Age 8. All riders should have a leg inseam of 26 inches to reach the pedals.
We own the exclusive rights to hydrobikes on Lough Erne. You will not get this experience anywhere else.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I fall off?
Hydrobikes are incredibly stable and unsinkable. Providing you follow the basic instructions you will remain dry. Whilst hydrobiking is a watersport, who should not be in the water. We have an excellent safety record.
What can I wear?
You can wear normal clothes and flat shoes. You do not need a wetsuit.
Are the Suitable for Kids?
Yes we have Hydrobikes suitable for kids 4+
Where can I park?
Unfortunately we do not have parking on site but there are car parks at Lanyon Place and Lagan Side Bus centre which are just a short walk.
Do I need to be physically fit?
No you do not need to be physically fit. Hydrobikes provide a gentle, low-impact aerobic total body workout; but it all depends on how fast you pedal. Take a hydrobike out for a leisurely ride, a fast cardio workout.
Our Safety boats will be on hand should you have any concerns
Does an Adult need to go with children Under 12?
No an Adult does not need to go out with children under 12, we only ask that for children under 12 that an Adult accompanies them. The adult can stay on land or go out on the safety boat if they wish.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes you can bring your dog along for the fun?
